Privacy Policy

The short version
Founderstowne does not run on your data. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or hand it to third-party trackers. We do not require an email, a password, or any identifying information to use most of the site. If you want to be reached or shipped to, you tell us, you can delete that any time, and that is the end of it.
For the plain-language story of how our identity system works, see LifetimeLogin: how it works.
Who we are
Founderstowne Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN: 39-2589509), based in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, United States. This policy covers every Founderstowne-backed website, including www.founderstowne.com and any sub-project served from our infrastructure (Academy, B.O.S.S., Presenter, SeymourOS, Founderstowne Media Network, and others).
What we collect
Your LLuID. A short, random code generated by your browser on first visit. It lives in your browser's local storage. We can see which LLuID is requesting a page when you visit, and we count those visits internally to measure what is working. We do not tie an LLuID to your name, your email, or any off-platform identity unless you explicitly give us that information at Level 3 (below).
Your IP address. Our servers see your IP for each request, the same way every website on the internet does. Our internal analytics anonymize the IP (we drop the last segment) before storing it, so individual visitors cannot be re-identified from analytics data. IPs are used for normal operational purposes: serving the page, security, and abuse detection.
Contact information you choose to give us (Level 3). If you tell us your name, mailing address, email, or phone number, because you want something shipped to you, want a personal reply, or own a business you want to be findable as, we store that. It is kept in a separate database from your LLuID. You can delete it at any time.
Anonymous internal page-visit measurement. We count which pages on our own sites your LLuID visits. This lets us see what content is useful and what is being ignored. This data never leaves Founderstowne, is never sold, and is never tied to your name, email, or anything off-platform.
What we do NOT collect
- No cookies for identity or tracking. Your LLuID is not in a cookie. There is nothing for an ad network to read.
- No off-site tracking pixels. We do not embed beacons that follow you to other websites.
- No ad networks. Founderstowne does not run ads and does not share visit data with ad platforms.
- No third-party login. No "sign in with Google", no "sign in with Apple", no "sign in with Facebook". No outside service learns that you use Founderstowne.
- No passwords. We never ask you to create one. There is no password database to leak.
- No SMS codes, no email codes. We never ask for a phone number or email address as part of signing in.
- No biometric data. No face scans, no fingerprints.
- No cross-site analytics. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any external analytics vendor.
How long we keep what we keep
- LLuID visit logs (anonymous internal measurement): retained while operationally useful. No fixed schedule, but never sold and never linked to identifying information.
- Level 3 contact information (name, address, email, phone): kept until you delete it or ask us to delete it. We do not auto-expire it because some uses (shipping, refunds, ongoing personal communication) need it to remain.
- IP addresses in operational logs: retained for security and abuse-detection purposes. Analytics IPs are anonymized at the point of collection.
- Backups: standard backups of the above are kept in case of data loss, and rotated out as new backups replace them.
Who we share your information with
Nobody, except as legally required. We do not sell your data. We do not rent it. We do not share it with marketing partners, advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own use.
The narrow exceptions:
- Service providers we use to operate the site (for example, our hosting provider, and, if you make a purchase or have something shipped, the payment processor or shipping carrier involved in that specific transaction) receive only the minimum data needed to do that one job. They cannot use it for anything else.
- Legal process. If we receive a valid subpoena, court order, or other legally enforceable demand, we comply as required by law. We will resist overbroad demands.
- Protecting safety. If we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm, we may share what is strictly required.
Your rights
You can:
- See what we have about you. Email us and we will tell you everything our systems have associated with your LLuID or your contact information.
- Correct it. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
- Delete it. You can delete your Level 3 contact information at any time, from the dashboard or by emailing us. We honor deletion requests promptly.
- Export it. Ask us for a copy of your data and we will send it in a portable format.
- Walk away with no penalty. You can stop using the site at any time. Your LLuID stays in your browser. If you clear your browser, the LLuID is gone and you cannot be re-identified.
These rights apply to everyone, not just residents of specific jurisdictions. We extend them as standard practice, not as a regulatory minimum.
Children under 13
Founderstowne is intended for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in any way that affects what we collect, share, or how long we keep it, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and announce the change on the homepage. Material changes will be highlighted, not buried.
